The aim of the Dispute Resolution Team is to provide creative and cost-effective solutions to clients' disputes using the extensive skills and experience of the members of the team as well as employing the complementary skills and experience available throughout the firm when appropriate.
Increasingly, the courts and our clients want disputes settled as early as possible without resorting to litigation. However, where a solution cannot be achieved by negotiation or mediation, the team has considerable experience of taking cases to trial whether by a court or other Tribunal. It also deals with obtaining injunctions and other preventative measures, and defending such applications.
The team’s experience has been gained in dealing with disputes across a wide range of industries including the firm's core sectors in the media and entertainment fields as well as aviation, manufacturing and service industries.
